His projects often explore dark themes, survival, grief, and the complicated relationships between characters. Drawing influence from both classic horror films and modern dramatic cinema, Ty aims to create movies that feel intense, realistic, and memorable.

As a filmmaker, Ty is deeply involved in the creative process—from writing scripts and developing characters to planning scenes and casting actors. He enjoys building atmospheric settings, especially in isolated locations like small towns, abandoned houses, and eerie landscapes, which help heighten the tension in his stories.
